Victoria Montessori is conveniently open all year round (summer program has limited space), and offers three, four and five day options, with either a 3pm pick up or 5pm pick up. Our Montessori program is for children from 2.5 years up to and including Kindergarten. All children must be potty trained.
The classroom is a carefully prepared learning environment, filled with concrete, manipulative Montessori activities, which encourage the children to learn and discover individually, at their own pace.
Physical activity, gross motor skills, are a vital part of a child's well being. At Victoria Montessori the children have a beautiful outdoor environment which allows them to play in our large sandbox, to conquer the climbing structure, to build forts, to tend to our garden, to do crafts, to have a quiet moment in the reading corner and to play imaginary games with their friends.
A typical day at Victoria Montessori
- Outside time together, free play 8 - 9am
- Montessori work cycle 9 - 11:30am
- Circle (story time, music, yoga, discussions, theme calendar) 11:30 - 12pm
- Nutritious lunch time and clean up 12 - 1pm
- Outside time together, free play, tending to garden 1 - 3pm
